Who We Are
MyCare Disability Support Services is a registered NDIS provider based in Mparntwe / Alice Springs. We support people with disability across Central Australia to live the life they choose, with the right help, in the right place, on their terms.
We work on the lands of the Arrernte people and honour their enduring connection to Country, culture, and community. Our work here is built on long-standing local relationships and a deep respect for the communities we support. Our team includes culturally aware staff who understand the needs of Aboriginal participants and families, and we bring that understanding into every part of how we work.
We take a person-first approach. No two people need the same support, so we don’t deliver the same support to everyone. We take the time to understand what matters to you, then build supports around your goals, your routine, and your culture.
Our Mission
To make sure every person we support has the help they need to live life on their own terms.
We exist to deliver disability support that actually fits the person in front of us. Not a template. Not whatever is easiest to roster. The support you choose, shaped around your goals, your routine, your family, and your culture. We listen first, we show up when we say we will, and we treat the way we deliver support as seriously as the support itself. For us, good support means a participant feels more confident, more connected to their community, and more at home in their own life than the day before. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, every shift, with every person.
Our Vision
We want to see a region where every person with disability has real choice and real control, where culture is respected as part of care rather than an afterthought, and where quality support is something you can count on no matter which community you call home. We are working toward a future where participants and their families never have to settle for support that doesn’t understand them, and where strong local providers are part of what makes Central Australia a place people can thrive. That future is what drives the work we do today.
Our Values
These values guide how we work with participants, families, and each other.

Person-first
We start with the person, not the diagnosis. Your goals, preferences, and culture shape the support you receive.

Cultural Respect
We work on Arrernte Country and support people from many communities. We respect culture, language, and Country in everything we do, and our team reflects that.

Choice and Control
You decide how your supports are delivered. We give you clear information and real options so you can make decisions with confidence.

Reliability
We show up when we say we will. Participants and families can count on consistent workers and dependable support.

Dignity
We treat every person with respect, patience, and care. How we deliver support matters as much as what we deliver.
Our Team
Our support workers bring a wide range of skills and lived experience to their work. They are experienced, friendly, and trained to deliver safe, respectful support.
Every member of our team holds a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance and works under the NDIS Code of Conduct and the NDIS Practice Standards. We invest in training and supervision so participants receive consistent, high-quality support from people who understand the local community.
Many of our staff have strong ties to Central Australia and cultural understanding of the communities we serve, which means participants are supported by people who understand where they come from.
